BERN 2004 SWITZERLAND

From November 18 to December 16, 2004, the Margrith Ramseier Gallery in the center of Berne exhibited a selection of Mikhail Kononovís pictures. Apart from works produced in Russia, the artist also presented his new fall paintings of Bernese landscapes and city impressions. 

The vernissage attracted numerous visitors. The ambassador of Russia in Berne, Dmitry Cherkashin, and the Cultural AttachÈ of Russiaís embassy were its guests of honor. Throughout the event, lively discussions in German and Russian language were held. Many of the visitors were enchanted by the magic of the colors in Mikhail’s pictures. Some of his works now form part of collections in Japan and Italy.
